Since we moved into our own apartment in October, we really dedicated ourselves to live a healthier lifestyle. That included subscribing to the gym nearby and going at least 3 times a week. But the main change we made I feel, was in our eating habits. I really feel that we have become more organised: we menu prep every week before going grocery shopping, and I have to say one of my main source of inspiration for healthy recipes is Pinterest (you can go and check my Pinterest boards here).

Last week was Black Friday. Thanks to the help and guidance of wise fashion bloggers like the lovely Belgian blogger Milkywaysblueyes, I was able to browse through many sales from brands that I love. Nothing really caught my eye until I arrived on the & Other Stories website.

I’ve been in love with this brand for as long as I can remember and this love grew even more, as you can guess, when I moved to Sweden. This brand really has the Stockholm vibe stuck to it. Unfortunately, I never got to buy anything when I explored the Scandinavian stores, but on this Black Friday, I finally got to get my hands on those simple, quality basics. So I’m doing a little haul to show you the items I fell in love with.

LISBON DIARIES – Discovering the Parque das Nações [Day 5]

A lot of people touring Lisbon forget to stop at the Parque das Nações. This part of the city is the modern part of the Portuguese capital. Most of it was built for the World Fair of Lisbon held in 1998. Even though the site is now 12 years old, it still clearly reflects the desire for a new and innovative world.

I don’t know about you but music always had a huge impact on my mood and especially on my motivation state. On Friday night, while I was on my way home from work, I watched a very interesting and inspiring video from Lily Like where she was talking about motivation and how to keep motivated (click here to watch it!). And I thought to myself: what is the one thing that gives me that extra push when my head, mind and body just give me a big no-no? And obviously the answer was music. No matter what I aim at achieving. These days as I am heading more and more to the gym (#FitterNovember yay!) and also trying to finish writing my master thesis, and music is really the motivating factor that helps me go the extra mile.
